The McGuffy School project involved the rehabilitation and conversion of a historic school into commercial space utilizing Historic Tax Credit. The building was renovated for use by The Covenant, a local provider of rehabilitative services to teens.

TESCO was the General Contractor for the project and was responsible for providing all pre-construction pricing and oversight. TESCO worked closely with the owner and architect to assist in the design and layout of the project. TESCO completed the conversion using design-build principles to achieve maximum building efficiency within a defined budget. As a requirement of the Historic Tax Credit financing for the project, TESCO has been responsible for the complete restoration of the building and meeting all requirements of the U.S. Department of Interior standards for historic preservation.
